Robbery, sexual assault crimes at burger restaurant in Seattle was faked to prevent illegals from being deported… thank “sanctuary city” policies

There are a whole host of reasons why American cities should never be “sanctuaries” for illegal aliens, but unfortunately for the citizens who live in them, the Democrats enacting sanctuary policies really don’t care about them.

No matter how many criminal activities are associated with those policies. 

According to a report by KTTH 770 Radio in Seattle/Tacoma, the owners of a small restaurant called Bob’s Burgers claimed that two men in masks entered the establishment, tied up patrons, robbed them, and sexually assaulted others last month.

The crime rocked the area when it was reported but it turns out to be a lie.

Multiple police sources told The Jason Rantz Show that it was a hoax. Initially, victims reported that the alleged thieves took cash and jewelry before sexually assaulting two female customers. 

Rather, it was an “inside job” in which the supposed victims believed the alleged crime would keep them from being deported.

“It was over U-Visa applications,” one source told the program. 

KTTH reported: 

Those involved are suspected to be in this country illegally, though this isn’t checked by law enforcement due to sanctuary city, county, and state laws.

“My sources say everyone involved in the robbery — from the individuals tied up, to the person who made the 911 — knew it was a hoax, though it remains unclear how deep into the subterfuge everyone was clued in,” Rantz wrote.

“The case took considerable manpower to investigate, including looking for cars and suspects matching the descriptions of those involved,” he added. “This put both officers and the public unnecessarily at risk.”

Not to mention the resources that were wasted looking for fake perpetrators of a fake crime.

This kind of stuff will continue to happen as long as Democrats put illegal aliens ahead of American citizens

Rantz said that early on, police began to get suspicious because there were inconsistencies in the complaints and stories being told of the alleged crime. 

He also noted that the King County Sheriff’s Office is likely to refer its investigative findings to the prosecutor’s office for possible charges.

But that might be as far as it goes. In fact, there may never even be any criminal referrals.

Why? Because Seattle and King County are run by flaming Leftists who decided long ago to forego law enforcement and public safety when they approved their sanctuary policy to begin with. Democrats claim that such policies are ‘human’ and ‘fair’ to illegal immigrants…people who either broke into our country illegally or are attempting to break our laws by overstaying their visas.

But what such policies really say is that Democrats care more for people who aren’t citizens of our country than they care about people who are.

Any policy that puts illegal immigrants first and public safety and law enforcement second is dangerous. It’s improper. It’s selfish. What’s more, such policies only beget more law-breaking, as we’ve seen in this case.

President Trump has attempted to address sanctuary city policies in a number of ways, including cutting off federal law enforcement funds from such cities. But in every case, he’s been thwarted by judicial activists on federal courts appointed by Left-wing presidents such as Obama.

They don’t care what the law says or what legal precedence is when it comes to presidential authority to decide federal public policy. They will come down on the side of illegals and sanctuary cities every time, regardless of the soundness of the Trump administration’s legal arguments and constitutional authority.

In some instances, the administration has won its immigration-related cases but in far too many it has lost them. Appeals are underway and some could eventually make their way to the Supreme Court, where Trump has a good chance of winning.

Meantime, however, American citizens will continue to be abused by Left-wing sanctuary policies that have illegal immigrants concocting crimes just so they don’t have to leave.
